Ask not for whom the clarinetist squeaks...

...it squeaks for thee.

I've actually got a fair number of public shows this November, before the madness of the "official" holiday season begins. Best way to keep up-to-date on my nefarious activities is to follow me on social media, or check out my calendar on my website.

But here are some of this month's highlights:

Wednesday, November 8 -- A return to the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt, Maryland! 7 to 9 pm. No cover, but reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Call the New Deal at 301-474-5642 to make 'em! For better service, include an honorific (Lord High Executioner, Her Noble Majesty, etc.) with your name when reserving your seats. Jazz, swing, and klezmer with yours truly, vocalist Flo Anito, guitarist Christie Macdonald, and bassist Derek Wiegmann.

Sunday, November 12 -- A concert for the Potomac River Jazz Club (PRJC) at Rosensteel Hall in Silver Spring, Maryland. Club members get a discount on tickets, but this show is open to everyone! 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Vintage jazz, swing, and a taste of klezmer with a band of A-listers: Flo Anito on vocals, Sean Lane on piano, Bob Abbott on double bass, and Jon Tigert on drums. Free parking, cash bar, and a splendid dance floor! And, with any luck, hot dogs!

Saturday, November 18 -- A return to Brookeville Beer Farm, in Brookeville, Maryland! 5:30 to 8:30 pm. No cover! If the weather's REALLY nice, we'll be outside. Otherwise, we'll be inside the brewery. Jazz, swing, and a wee bit o' klezmer. Lots of tasty (adult) beverages and brick-oven pizza on site! With Sean Lane on piano and Bob Abbott on double bass. The more beer you drink, the better we sound! The more beer we drink, the better we THINK we sound!

Sunday, November 19 -- The Music Pilgrim Trio (Vladimir Fridman, Bob Abbott, and this guy) in concert for the Baltimore County Arts Guild! 7 to 9:30 pm at "The Clubhouse," in Catonsville, Maryland. Tickets are $10 and the concert is open to all.
